Charity is at the core of who we are at Bow-Nut Bites. Here is how we try to give back.
Seeing the comfort Bowie and Peanut share knowing they are properly cared for, I knew I wanted to share this with pets in more unfortunate circumstances.
For this reason, we will donate to local organizations in various ways. Philadelphia area shelters and rescues, please contact us if you would like to be added to our list for donations.
Monthly, treats will be donated to Greater Philadelphia Area shelters and/or rescues. Hopefully, healthy treats help with common health issues or even help bring a pet out of their shell a bit, both in an effort to increase adoption chances.
Contact Us or find us at an event to trade a bundle of used but clean towels and/or linens for a package of treats. These items will be regularly donated to Greater Philadelphia Area shelters and rescues as the need for these basics is a common need. Recommended donation would fill a medium sized shopping bag. But larger bundles would help more animals
We are proudly partnered with Street Tails Animal Rescue. 2% of all our sales will go to helping support Street Tails adoptions. They will be using funds likely for medical testing/care which is one of the main things that delays and/or stops possible adoptions.
