We treat every pet like they are our own. That is the level of care we put into our treats.
Everything we make is all natural using whole food ingredients. With options for picky pets, overweight pets, and those with food allergies/sensitivities.
All our treats are made in a commercial kitchen, right here in Philadelphia. All treats are produced under supervision of a “Serve Safe” certified food safety manager. Rest assured, your treats are being made in a sanitary environment.
Usually treats made with this much care and purity cost an arm and a leg. Not here! We want you buy our treats and KEEP buying them for your pet’s sake!

We’ve shared our home with canine companions for over 20 years. Dogs have been a big part of our lives, and caring for them has shaped so much of how I approach pet ownership.
My current sidekicks, Peanut and Bowie, have been part of our family since 2016 and 2018. Peanut was found in a dumpster in Georgia at just 10 weeks old, with a chemical burn across her back. Despite her rough start, she grew into an incredibly active and playful dog who brought so much joy into our lives. Eventually, we decided she needed a friend of her own.
Enter Bowie! After being rehomed multiple times, Bowie found his place with us. We still can’t figure out why anyone would have let him go, but he turned out to be the perfect companion for Peanut. He matched her playful energy while also encouraging her to slow down and relax. Today, they’re the best of friends and practically inseparable.
Like any devoted dog parents, we wanted to give them the best life possible. Despite measuring their food and following recommended treat portions, both dogs had become severely overweight. I wanted to understand what I could do differently, so I began researching canine nutrition and experimenting with recipes using natural, whole-food ingredients.
What started as a personal effort to make better choices for Peanut and Bowie grew into a passion for creating thoughtfully made dog treats. Eventually, that passion became Bow-Nut Bites, a business inspired by two very special dogs and built around purposeful ingredients, a love for animals, and the belief that doing good should be part of doing business.
We frequent events all around the Greater Philadelphia and surrounding area as well as New Jersey. Come check us out and say hello!
